Hi friend! This week, I'm finishing up something I've been working on for MONTHS. So excited to finally share it out next week right here in the newsletter. If you're enjoying the deep dives, this is a supercharged deep dive. If you want a little sneak peek of what it is, check this out. No need to sign up for it. It'll be in your inbox on Tuesday morning! In the meantime, here's a previous deep dive on two people I've gotten to work with since the start of their company. What's one hurdle you're trying to get over with your business? Happy to try to help if I can! Now, here's this week's deep dive: Here's this week's deep dive:It sometimes takes a few swings to craft the right product to meet market needs. For Ben Young and Fred Kukelhaus, the co-founders of Hugo & Hoby, it took them a few swings at creating a B2C company by creating a standing desk, a coffee table, and even beds before they finally hit their home run with B2B products. Today, Hugo & Hoby builds custom furniture to create unique spaces, strengthen communities, and better our planet. This all stems from the co-founders’ grandparents, Hugo & Hoby. Hugo & Hoby is almost 10 years old, operating as a 7-figure business, and I’ve had the incredible privilege to watch from the sidelines since nearly the beginning when I met them at Yale in 2015.
Helpful Content from Others:Colin & Samir with the CEO of SpotifyWhew, I was watching this interview and then found out that Colin & Samir lost their homes in the LA fires. Tragic. I love Colin & Samir's approach to their work and this interview with the CEO of Spotify was great. If some of Spotify's bets on video work, that could be a game changer for creators and businesses. If you're looking for a job this January, here's a tip.Gabe is a friend from college and I wish I could put this LinkedIn post on a t-shirt. So good. Another newsletter you should check out:
