Hi friend! I'm traveling this week and have a pretty unique interview lined up while I'm traveling. Excited to eventually share this one 👀 In the meantime, I joined the exodus off of X/Twitter and am on Threads! Let me know if you're on there too. What's one hurdle you're trying to get over with your business? Happy to try to help if I can! Now, here's this week's deep dive: Here's this week's deep dive:“I’m probably more stable” was Asia Orangio’s response to when I asked her “why start your own venture?”. She’s right, she’s more stable than both VC-backed startups she led marketing efforts at before starting her company, DemandMaven. DemandMaven is an agency that helps early stage companies with growth operations. Another way to think about it is hiring them to be your fractional head of growth. This is different than just marketing and demand generation though. As Asia put it, “there are no silver bullets” to growth. Your product and marketing efforts have to both work for growth efforts to really work. Today, DemandMaven has over $500k in annual revenue and Asia has worked with organizations like Moz, Sparktoro, MicroConf, TinySeed, and Techstars. Let’s dive into how Asia and her team at DemandMaven got there.
Helpful Content from Others:More influencers are men than women data reportThis was interesting to see since Kit has seen this ratio flip where more women are creators than men. I'm curious how this evolves as I also saw data earlier in the week that people's trust in influencers is also declining. I tend to think this is going to help separate creators from influencers. The Creator Toolkit by Chris & SaraTwo people who have become friends of mine, Chris and Sara, have an amazing YouTube channel (140k+ subscribers) and just released this great Creator Toolkit. I highly recommend their YouTube channel and Creator Toolkit. You may or may not see them sooner than later as a deep dive here... Another newsletter you should check out:

Hi friend! I don't know about you, but this past week has felt like an entire month. So much going on. Thankfully, I was able to re-focus by the end of last week and create a new deep dive that was a lot of fun to create. Hi friend! I was at FinCon most of last week and met a lot of wonderful founders. Always cool to see everyone in person rather than on Zoom. This week's deep dive is one I was able to see happen a little bit as I was working around the corner from this one for about a year. It's also a little different as this business went to $250k in revenue in 2.5 years, but is now shut down. More on that in the deep dive. What's one growth strategy you're curious about?? Here's this week's deep dive:...
